3 Things to Keep in Mind when Working with High Voltage Electricity as an Electrician

We see high voltage electricity being used in many ways. From powering industrial plants and feeding power to large light posts on the highway. It is important that high voltage electricity stays away from people and the environment to avoid any potential hazards.

When working with high voltage electricity, it is crucial to take safety precautions to keep you and your team safe. Avoiding injury and keeping a safe working environment is the most important.

Always use proper safety equipment

Working with high voltage requires an extra layer of caution. Wearing proper gloves, face shields clothing and eyewear will help lower the risk of injury on the job. Make sure the electrician is trained and qualified for Hot work.

Never touch live wire with bare or wet hands

Touching live wire without proper safety equipment is a BIG NO, NO! Always wear your proper P.P.E. and always make sure the electrician doing the work is trained in hot work.
